Membership in the Society is via a recognized Provincial/Local Chapter.
A regular member is a natural person who is a registered Professional Forester pursuant to Republic Act No. 6239 or Republic Act. No. 10690, and pays membership fee and annual dues to the Society.
Any natural person who is not qualified for admission as a regular or associate member may be conferred Honorary Membership to the Society by a unanimous decision of the Members of the National Council if he/she is a person of acknowledged professional eminence with accomplishments that have significantly contributed to the enhancement of the forestry profession, or has achieved national or international recognition as an advocate of forest conservation; or by reason of exceptional knowledge, background, or training, is capable and willing to lend support to the Society.
Anybody who is a graduate of bachelor’s degree in forestry or forest products engineering or agro-forestry and consistently represented the interest and objectives of the Society.
